Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was clean and well-equipped, but it was small, dark, and had a less than pleasant smell. The service was on point, with some staff being extremely helpful while others came off as rude. The location was both convenient and quiet, striking a good balance close to attractions but still peaceful. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with good food but also some room for improvement. Overall, it was a decent stay with a few areas that could use some enhancement.
The hotel is in a nice area perfect for walking to attractions, but there are noise issues at night. The rooms are a bit tight and dated, needing upgrades, with thermostat problems. The service was mixed, with friendly greetings but also unfriendly encounters. The dining experience was good with reasonable prices and Spanish food options. The facilities were generally decent.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms, while a bit on the smaller side than expected, were equipped with a fridge which was essential in the May heat and humidity. The view of the courtyard and pool from my room with 2 queen beds was enjoyable once the room cooled down. The bathroom, though tiny, served its purpose eventually.
The hotel has that true New Orleans feel, with clean and adequately equipped rooms. The staff is very kindly accommodating, even providing a temporary room when our bathroom had a ceiling leak. However, the property is a bit rundown and has a strong smoke odor.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but some noise from outside was noticeable. The service was polite and professional, yet not very warm. The location was the best part, offering easy access to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. The dining options were good, though service at Bistreaux could be slow. Overall, a decent value for the price paid.
